UNSW Galleries is dedicated to supporting both Australian and international artists and designers across all its programs.

Our exhibitions and projects are developed in close collaboration with practitioners, fostering meaningful engagement and innovation. Through artist residencies, we provide access to studios, resources, and research facilities at UNSW Art & Design and throughout Sydney. These residencies are designed to encourage the development of ambitious new work and research.

Residencies often lead to exhibitions, public programs, and collaborative outcomes that form part of UNSW Galleries’ broader commitment to learning through exhibition-making and engaging audiences in dialogue across disciplines.
