UNSW Galleries is proud to partner with Copyright Agency to continue Copyright Agency Partnerships (CAP) – an annual series to support major commissions for mid-career and established visual artists in partnership with leading art galleries and cultural organisations around Australia.

From 2025 to 2028, the Copyright Agency will partner with UNSW Galleries, Sydney (2026), Edith Cowan University Art Gallery, ECU City, Perth (2027) and Gertrude Contemporary, Melbourne (2028). Previous CAP partners include 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art (2022), Australian Centre for Contemporary Art (2023), the Institute of Modern Art (2024), and Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (2025).

In September 2025, Copyright Agency announced Heather B. Swann as the next recipient of CAP. Swann will present the $80,000 commission, The Forests of Symbols, at UNSW Galleries, Sydney, from 4 September to 22 November 2026.
