Creative Hub: Mapping Cultural Encounters

Join us for a collaborative banner-making workshop responding to themes of the 24th Biennale of Sydney, ‘Ten Thousand Suns’. The exhibition revisits legacies of collective resistance, strength, and exuberance, while honouring the contributions of First Nations and migrant communities to global conversations.

This workshop aims to offer opportunities to explore and celebrate cross-cultural exchange through a visual dialogue while reflecting on the power of collectivism. Working together on a shared banner, participants are invited to map their own stories through drawing and collaging found imagery. Reflecting the spirit of multicultural exchange and cooperation, this workshop encourages audiences to explore issues relating to identity, land, and history.
