From the Edge

From the Edge is an exhibition exploring the notion of identity, place and indigeneity in contemporary art. This exhibition showcases emerging artists working in a variety of media, and suggests new ideas and new approaches for the exploration of themes of personal, local, national and regional identity. It suggests that there is no neat or singular formula for addressing issues of social or collective identity, but that it is critical to engage in more open, complex and productive dialogues.
